THE VISION
I have such talented friends! I’m proud to present this kickstarter for One Duck Brewing Co. My long time friend from Whistler, Jesse Paine is opening a brewery in Squamish! The funds for this campaign will go towards building an inviting taproom and creating a bottle shop, allowing clients to take beer home with them.
THE BEER
Look out Squamish, One Duck Brewing CO will be locally owned and operated and will produce some of the finest handcrafted brews around. American Pale Ale (APA), Belgian Double, Black IPA, Flemish Red (sour beer), Belgian Wit, Belgian Tripel, are the beers on the list with more to come. More detail on the brews on the Kickstart Page.
THE NAME
The name One Duck came up as a lone duck kept coming to visit us while we were fishing; and then I remembered visiting One Duck Lake in Whistler when I was younger. One Duck reminds me of where I grew up and all of the wonderful outdoor activities it has to offer. To me, the name represents a place of fun and adventure.
THE PERKS OF HELPING
When you pledge to help One Duck Brewing Co come alive you recieve perks. This Kickstarter campaign has some great perks, but I think the best one is the One Duck Founding Member. This only has 2 places for pledging and comes with many perks, but this one stands out to me
You get your very own bar stool and glass with your name on it at the brewery. Only you get to drink from the glass, and if someone is on your stool and you want it, you get it!
Who’s going to stand up so they can sit down and be a founding member for $2,500, sound like a steal of a deal to me!
